A drizzle of chipotle ranch dressing added a suggestion of smoky heat. A grilled tortilla fold-over stuffed with diced chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, and lots of bacon crumbles, the quesadilla mimicked the flavor profile of the sandwich from which it takes its name. "Too much is never enough" is a philosophy that Moe's applies to its Chicken Club Quesadilla ($8.59). Enhanced with diced tomato, flat-leaf parsley, and a generous sprinkle of salt, the avocado mash-up was authentic in style and palate appeal. We opted for the "Make It a Meal Option," adding in a side of the restaurant's freshly made guacamole. Made, we'd guess, with processed cheese, it has a smooth texture and rich cheese flavor chunks of jalapeno pepper lend the queso zesty "bite." A Joey Bag of Donuts ($7.99) burrito made with black beans and marinated grilled steak offered plenty of sustenance, thanks to the inclusion of seasoned rice, lettuce, sour cream, and shredded cheese. Queso (melted cheese dip) is available as either a side ($1) or a cup ($3.39). The tart fruitiness of the minced cranberries and sour citrus notes complemented the freshly made corn chips in a way we thought most compatible. Moe's cranberry-lime salsa was our favorite. The fine textured, tomatillo-based green salsa had an engaging sour tang with a slightly soapy cilantro flavor lending contrast. The "Who is Kaiser" is the mid-range, tomato-based option its heat was tolerable but definitely pronounced. ![]() ![]() Corn tortilla chips come free with every order and can be enjoyed with five different salsas. An Art Vandalay ($6.79) represents the vegetarian burrito option, while burrito bowls like the no-animal-protein Band Camp ($6.79) deliver the burrito experience "unplugged." Other options at Moe's include quesadillas such as the John Coctostan ($8.29 when ordered with steak or pork) and double-wrapped "stacks" like the Wrong Doug ($8.99), which is built from the standard burrito fixings and tucked between corn tortillas before being wrapped in a flour tortilla and grilled. Over and over again, troopers see the tragic consequences of preventable motor vehicle crashes.Variations like the Homewrecker ($8.19) can be enhanced with chicken, tofu, or ground beef as well as guacamole, lettuce, and sour cream.
